Move drives from DL360-G3 to DL360-G2

I had to move the drives from the G3 to the G2. Now mirror is broken. ACU is showing that the Array A is made up of two drives:
18.2GB Parallel SCSI Drive at PORT2: SCSI ID 0
???? Parallel SCSI Drive at PORT1: SCSI ID 1

The drive on PORT1:SCSI ID 1 is failed. The actuall drive shows up as UNASSIGNED on PORT2: SCISI ID 1 (not PORT1 as the array expected). See atttached screen shot.

IS there a way to get the array to look at PORT 2 SCSI ID 1 for it's mirror partner? I guess the servers have different SCSI backplane configurations (both use the SA 5i though).

Re: Move drives from DL360-G3 to DL360-G2

John,
Port-numbering between G3 and G2 was reversed.
Depending on the action you took when ORCA signalled the mishap at boot-time you may be able to shut down, swap the drives and off you go.
Best, I guess, is to start off with one drive, fail the missing one and rebuild. That way you have two shots.

Re: Move drives from DL360-G3 to DL360-G2

Thanks dd.... I got it working. It seems that the Firmware on the 5i in the new machine was newer thatn the FW on the old. I put the drives back in the old, updated the firmware, and then I was able to put them in the new server!
