Moving MSA30 to another controller
I have DL380 G4 Storage Server with SmartArray 6i integrated controller. An MSA30 with two arrays RAID 5 is attached to this server. Once server was stopped for replace of motherboard. For that time I decided to move MSA30 to another server (DL360 G4) with SmartArray 6404 controller. I made all steps from manual for that controller. But no arrays was appeared at server, it detected only drives without any configuration. But when motherboard on DL380 was changed and MSA 30 connected all arrays were succesfully detected. A firmware for 6i and 6404 is 2.68A. What must I do in such situation to move arrays? Whi 6404 didn't load array configuration from disks? Or such moving is not possible?
