Moving RAID config from E200i to Smart Array P400

Hi everyone,

I have a Proliant ML350 with a E200i integrated.
I have 4 disk in one logical unit in RAID 10 configured on the E200i.

I've installed a Smart Array P400. I want to move the configuration on the E200i to the P400.

How should I proceed?
I guess :
-reboot my server
-desactivate the E200i
-detected the RAID configurjavascript:postMessageSubmit('submit');ation of my disk on the P400.
-reboot
then it should be OK?

hi

- shutdown server
- install the p400
- boot OS from e200
- install the driver for p400
- install Firmware for p400
- shutdown server
- connect the HDDs to p400
- power on server
- check boot controller order to set p400 as bootable controller
-and boot up the server to OS

Could you explain me how do we connect the HD to the P400?

using a cable that goes from controller to HDD backplane
