Multi-Port Nic Teaming
Hi,
I am trying to increase the output of a proliant server. I am having difficulty tracking down some simple answers while wading through all of the white papers.
I will be installing a multi-port NC, will they have different IPs initially, and will I have to team them? They are connected to a single switch for the express reason of increasing output from the server. Do I need to enable SLB?
Would I be better off with dual nc's? What is the difference/comparisons between a multi port nc or dual nc's?
Thanks for any help!
