Multiple FANs failed at once?
Hi, my server DL360 G4 worked for a couple of years without a problem and today after I inserted a second FC HBA which worked in another server until now. From that moment, my dl360 plays dead and both internal and external health LEDs are red. Also inside a big red LED light up ( PS FAN FAIL, PS MULTI FAN FAIL not sure which)
- All fans on the PS FAN module are spinning btw.
- i tried swapping the hotplug PS
- i tried to clean the FAN module
but to no avail.
Please advide action: new fan module?

Re: Multiple FANs failed at once?
Does removing the "new" HBA fix the problem?
If so, I'd go for a round of BIOS and firmwares upgrades and give it another try.
(And also check that the card was firmly seated).
If it just won't start anymore, I'd sure wouldn't know where to start...

Re: Multiple FANs failed at once?
Removing the HBA solves nothing. I even removed the old one, re-seated the RAMS, the fan module and still nothing.
