Hi,
we have a DL380G5 server with p400 controller.
8 HDD in the server. we want to do three RAID here. 1. Bay1 and Bay2 HDD RAID1 for OS. 2. Bay3 and Bay4 RAID1 for DATA. 3. Bay5,Bay6,Bay7 RAID5 for DATA. and Bay8 HDD spare. Please let us know is it ok or not??

Thanks. Maxm how many RAID we can configure. is it depends on array card? what if we use p800 card. what is BBWC.

I can't remember how many, but at least 32 Arrays.
But check the quick specs.
BBWC = Battery Backed Write Cache.
Sometimes its also called write cache enabler.
