Multiporcessor Stepping

I have recnetly built a new DL580, now that it is built it is reporting a CPU mismatch across the two CPUs. Under Windows 2000 MS Diagnostics (WinMSD) it is reporting that one CPU is stepping 1 and the other is stepping 4. Do I need to return one of these CPUs to get a replacment at the same stepping level as the one fitted to the server?

The stepping should not be more than N+1. Example is 1 processor is stepping 2 then second processor must be 1,2 or 3.
