NC340T and Windows network problems

We have a couple of DL580-g3 servers each installed with 2 x NC340T quad port NICs and Windows Server 2003.

There appears to be a problem whereby Windows will not allow you to enable/disable any of the other ports presented by these nics whilst a teamed connection exists.

For example we have setup a team between nic1 port4 and nic2 port4 and connected ok, however we are unable to enable or disable any of the other ports whilst this team is in place. Attempting to do so results in the windows explorer (network connections) process hanging. It also causes ipconfig to display the following error:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>ipconfig

Windows IP Configuration

An internal error occurred: The system cannot find the file specified.

Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for further help.

Additional information: Unknown media status code.

We are using all current firmware and driver versions.

Can anyone offer advice on how this might be resolved?

Thanks in advance.

Appears to have been an issue with PCI slot placement of the NC340T cards. Moving them from slots 6 & 7 (Bus 22) to slots 3 & 4 (Bus 12 & 15) appears to have resolved the problem!
