Afternoon.
Have a DL360 with existing dual NC373i NICs. Installed 2 x NC373F multifunction cards to enable connection to a Brocade SAN Switch and MSA Controller, but cannot get the NC373F cards to behave as anything but NIC's.
i) What do we need to do to enable the cards to behave as HBA's and
ii) How do we retrieve the WWN's of the cards?
Thanks.

Solution
"cannot get the NC373F cards to behave as anything but NIC's."
Thats because they ARE Nics!
You need to buy Fibre HBA Cards for your server in order to connect to a Fibre switch.
Official options for the DL360 (Im assuming G5)are as follows...
HP StorageWorks FC2142SR 4Gb PCI-e HBA
A8002A
HP StorageWorks FC2242SR Dual Channel 4 Gb PCI-e HBA
A8003A
HP StorageWorks FC1142SR 4Gb PCI-e HBA
AE311A
HP StorageWorks FC1242SR Dual Channel 4 Gb PCI-e HBA
AE312A
HP StorageWorks FC2143 4 GB PCI-X 2.0 -to-Fibre Channel HBA
AD167A
HP StorageWorks FC2243 Dual Channel 4Gb PCI-X 2.0 HBA
AD168A
HP StorageWorks FC1143 4Gb PCI-X 2.0 HBA
AB429A
HP StorageWorks FC1243 Dual Channel 4Gb PCI-X 2.0 HBA
AE369A
Once connected, you can get the WWNs of the cards from the switch zoning config.
