NC380T NIC and iSCSI, W2k8 x64
Hi!
Enviroment:
Proliant DL 140 G3, PSP 8.20(A)
NCU 9.50.0.11
NIC NC380T, Driver 4.6.112.0
Microsoft Server 2008 Enterprise x64 SP1
I have made one port to iSCSI HBA, but how can I get it back to be a NIC again?
(see attached file)

Re: NC380T NIC and iSCSI, W2k8 x64
You should be able to use both ports as NIC and HBA at the same time. I├В┬┤d recommend to clear drivers completely, deleting the .sys file and the .inf file for the NIC (NIC Driver, Virtual Bus device driver, iSCSI driver), then install NCU 9.60 and try again.
There should be a file called cpqsystem.log under the C unit--->cpqsystem--->log. Can you attach that file?

Re: NC380T NIC and iSCSI, W2k8 x64
Hi Matias,
Not sure if you ever got this resolved but I had exactly the same problem. Same NIC, same drivers, same PSP, same OS just with a DL380G5.
I tried many things but in the end I had to rebuild the server using earlier drivers from PSP 8.00. I'm not sure exactly what the driver versions are as I have literally just finished it but the problem does not occur with earlier drivers. I will get the versions and post them if you like.
Let me know if you managed to find a solution to this.
Regards,
Pete
