NIC Agent: Connectivity has been restored for the NIC in slot 0, port 1, EVERY 2 MINUTES
DL380 G6. I have the "NIC Agent: Connectivity has been restored for the NIC in slot 0, port 1" every 2 minutes. I do not see a connectivity lost message, only the connectivity restored message. The exact NIC type is NC382i Mltifunction Gigabit Server Adapter. Driver version used is HP v5.2.14.0, dated 12/17/2009. The switch it's connected to is a Cisco 3500XL. 100/full is forced on both the NIC and the switch port. I changed out the cable and the switch port, but the message continues. Exchange server runs on this server and our VOIP server needs to talk to it, which intermittently loses connectivity to it. I think it's related to this message.
