NIC Driver ML310 XP

I've installed XP on an old ML310 G1. Everything worked straight away except the NIC. Anyone have anything that'll do the job?

Thanks

Re: NIC Driver ML310 XP

Hi Darren,

You can use the HP Windows 2000 NC7760 driver in XP. You will get a message stating that it's an unsigned driver but you can ignore that.

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/25511.html

Run this program and choose "Extract" and save the files to a suitable folder. Then update the driver and point it to this folder.

The NC7760 is based on the Broadcom BCM5702 chipset. If you prefer native XP drivers you can download the Broadcom BCM5702 XP 32-bit driver kit from here.

I hope this helps.

Brian
