NIC Failover Boot Problem
I have several Proliant DL380 configured for Network Fail-Over using the Imbedded NIC (NC3163) and a NC3123 as the 2nd adapter.
Wether we use Failover-on-Fault or Smart-Switch, if we reboot the server with the Primary Adapter disconnected (NC3163 or NC3123), the Fail-Over doesn't happen and the server is not accessible until we reconnect the Primary Adapter.
The Fail-Over/Smart-Switch works properly when the server is running in Win2000.
I have installed all the latest Compaq Drivers (SSD ver 5.12a). We are using Cisco Catalyst 6500 Switches with CAT-OS.
Help with this issue would be really appreciated. Thanks!
