Installed new NIC in PCI Slot 5.
(PCI Slot 6 has a fiber card installed. (AE312A))
New NIC is not detected in BIOS.

Re: NIC Not Detected: Server: DL385G7 NIC: HP NC360T
can you give more detail on what you expect to see in RBSU? I think the only place it will be shown is under the "PCI IRQ Settings" screen. During POST the NIC should display some ROM information

I don't see any reference to the new NIC on the Post Screens.

Have you tried a different slot? could be as simple as being a bad NIC

Re: NIC Not Detected: Server: DL385G7 NIC: HP NC360T
We have tried 2 different NICs with the same result.
Slot 5 is the only unused slot.

Re: NIC Not Detected: Server: DL385G7 NIC: HP NC360T
You are correct the fiber card is in Slot 6. My mistake.
The NIC is listed in the subject line. HP NC360T.

Re: NIC Not Detected: Server: DL385G7 NIC: HP NC360T
The server can have different riser cards
see
section Expansion Slots.
What riser do you have?
You could try to put the known working FC card into this slot just to ensure the slot is working.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: NIC Not Detected: Server: DL385G7 NIC: HP NC360T
How Many Riser are installed in this server?
can you give me the part number of Riser?
you can tell me the server when it was purchased? this is essential information.
