There is one riser in the server. I will get the part number for you. The server was purchased 12/1/2012.

HP Support is sending replacement riser cards. (I have 2 servers with this issue)
I was told this is not a known issue but there are cases out there that sound very similar, although with a different NIC.

SolutionIf the ProLiant DL385 G7 server does not recognize an NC360T, and the NIC is installed in Slot 4 or Slot 5, install the NIC in Slot 1 instead.
the ProLiant DL385 G7 server can support three NC360T NICs (one in slot 1 of a standard Riser card, and two in slots 4 and 5 on the Riser Option 494326-B21).
