NIC Settings
I have several servers that are experiencing network problems. Our switches are all set to 100/FD and we set our servers to the same 100/FD. After some of the servers reboot the NIC settings return to Auto/Auto and then negotiates its settings. Sometimes they connect at FD and sometimes HD. This is happening on about 10 servers which is only a small percentage of our total environment. It is always the same servers and there does not seem to be any correlation between the problem servers. Different Proliant models, different NICs, different Support Packs and connected to different switches. Has anyone experienced this problem before and if so, what was the solution? I have tried about all I can think of.

Re: NIC Settings
Hello Brad,
Please apply the latest support pack i.e. ver 7.0 if you have not done it already. Apparently this fixed lots of issues similar to yours. Here is the link in case you need it:

Re: NIC Settings
I have installed Support Pack 7.00. The server is still changing its NIC back to Auto/Auto after installing.
