NIC Teaming Issue

We have a DL180 G5 Server, It has an NC110T installed and also a NC105I installed. The NC105i when installed was recoginized as a Broadcom gigabit ethernet adapter but now is just a NC105i. I want to use teaming on the interfaces but only the nc110t shows up in the teaming configuration manager. How do I get both NIC's to show up for teaming?
Also do I have to reinstall the NC105i to make it display as a broadcom adapter?

Re: NIC Teaming Issue

I have the same thing on my DL180G5 - the only NC105i is not visible in Network Configuration Utility. This works also under w2008x64.

Did you try install something besides w2008x64? If so, pls let me know - I have been trying to install w2003x64 for a week without success.
Did you install w2008x64 on embedded RAID? Pls let know version of raid driver you used - I could installed my w2008x64 only on single disk.

Re: NIC Teaming Issue

Hi!

This NC105i is a broadcom NIC. Just make sure you have the correct Driver depending on you OS and the latest Network Configuratin Utility. Those links are for Windows Server 2003 32bits. Select the OS in the Next Link and download the latest driver and NCU.

Re: NIC Teaming Issue

Hi!

I was doing a research regarding this driver. In order to get this driver you need to download the Proliant Support Pack Version 8.00 for Windows Server 2008 32bits, wich contains all the drivers for Windows Server 2008 32bits. Then you extract all the files and there is going to be a file "cp008496.exe" this is the NC Series Broadcome Driver.
