NIC Teaming - Load Balancing Problem

I'm setup load balancing for the NIC for both NC3163 and both cable are connected to a 3548 XL Cisco switch. When I do a ping to a equipment i get a request time-out but if I change to fault tolerance for the NIC teaming, the problem does not occur.

The Cisco switches have a configuration called Port Fast configured on them by port. If I remember correctly, you have to turn this on/off for those ports where the servers are plugged in. Hope this helps.
