Just wondering what is the best method for teaming NIC's on the Proliant server line with HP Procurve switches. Couple of questions. 1) Is it best to set static IP's for the NIC's that are going to be teamed? Should I leave them DHCP and only set a static IP for the "team"? 2) Do I need to perform anything at the switch level? 3) Can I have NIC's in a team goto different Procurve switches (same VLAN) for failover? Thanks.
