NIC teaming
I have a prolient server and want to team the NICs. I have two in a team and they are connected to a Cisco Swtich (3659g). I have it set up for LACP. The ports keep dropping/flapping. Cisco recommends to turn off "hard code" the cards not to autonegotiate Etherchannel. Any one have a doc or know how to do this?

Re: NIC teaming
Basically you need to use an automatic team mode and then the cisco interfaces as channel-group mode active, if it keeps flapping then try cisco etherchannel, channel group mode on, and auto team type, it will give you the same as LACP, 2GB TX/RX.
