The server got restarted automatically.
The front panel was having a light in red color.
Our engineer has opened the server and found the error led is glowing for both the processors and PPM
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

SolutionPlease check by following steps & confirm the status:
1. Check the status with single single processor, & also without processor.
2. Check the input power of this particular server
3. If it is having dual power supply, check with single power supply
4. If your engineer can refix the components then guide him to refix the Power Backplane
That should help

Re: NO DISPLAY ON DL380G4 SERVER
If the LED for processor/PPM is red, it gotto do with processor/PPM, nothing else.
remove the 2nd processor + PPM & try booting.
If no go, try removing the 1st one.
I am not sure if the 1st PPM is integrated, if so, the system board needs replacement.
Or, the processor(s).
Cheers.
James.

Re: NO DISPLAY ON DL380G4 SERVER
- try reseating the processors and power processor modules (PMP)
- try swapping processors and PPMs at the same time
- try booting with just one processor and PPM
in that way you can determine which component is failing processors, ppm or system board.
