NOT STARTING

When I Start the Server it is giving me two long beeps and it shows nothing on the screen

Is this a new system , new install ?
Have you added anything to the system ?
Was the system running before ?
Did the Server crash , need more information .

I am having the same problem. System bought from an auction. Setting it up for a friend. Two long beeps and no video output. Also, wierd reaction from the CD-rom drive. When I eject it opens and closes immediately 9 out of 10 tries. System has 1x400Mhz processor and 128MB ram. 2 drives connected to the stock SCSI controller. No array controller. Using on board video. One NIC. Both drives good (checked in another machine). All periferral board reseated. Swapped out known good parts for controller card, nic, drives, memory board, processor, etc.
What now??
