NPAR partitions
Hi
We have a new DL380 Gen10 with a 2-port 631SFP28 NIC that features NPAR. Host OS will be ESXi.
In the BIOS, when configuring partitioning, it seems to be offering 16 partitions (8 partitions per physical port) to the OS. My understanding from the HPE NPAR configuration guide (https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04408042), as well as from our VirtualConnect \ FlexFabric environment was that each port would support 4 partitions, thus the OS would see 8 NICs.
Can anybody help me understand why i am seeing 16, and to configure this as desired with 4 partitions per port?
Thanks.
David

Re: NPAR partitions
Hello,
Please share below required information for further investigation.
1. Snapshot of RBSU.
2. Snapshot from the OS.
3. Current firmware of 2-port 631FLR-SFP28 Adapter
