NSA-endorsed hardware backdoor (IRONCHEF) for HP 380DL G5s
Hello,
I've read https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2014/01/feedtrough_nsa.html. Any recommendations how to verify and how to fix this?
Thanks,

Re: NSA-endorsed hardware backdoor (IRONCHEF) for HP 380DL G5s
Nothing special to read, no?
They implant a piece of hardware in the server that sends RF signals.
If you let someone have physical access to your server....
Check your server inside if you find any of these devices if you are paranoid or consider yourself a target for international spying agencies:
Pictures included.

Re: NSA-endorsed hardware backdoor (IRONCHEF) for HP 380DL G5s
Besides opening the hood and checking if the NSA has implanted a piece of hardware into your server that sends RF signals, you can also protect your BIOS by using the DL380 G5 ROM dated 2011.05.02. This ROM enhances the security against modifications and won't allow the flash of a "fake" ROM on that system.
