NT not recognising (20/40) Tape Device
I have a live NT4 Server which does not recognise 20/40 DLT tape device attached to it - even with right drivers installed. Has this got anything to do with a controller card? How can I get the tape device recognised without taking this Server offline?

Re: NT not recognising (20/40) Tape Device
Is this Internal or external ? What is it plugged into? Are you using a terminated cable?
The ML370 does not support Hot Plug PCI slots and/or SCSI ports.
You will have to down the server to make sure it ID's the drive at POST and then go into the F10 partition to make sure the server will recognize it.
