NT4 Error msg at BOOT

After trying to install compaq management agents, I have a strange error message at boot, just after pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL ; "||?w??w@|J"
I have desinstalled all compaq agents, it's still the same.

I have no idea - other than a possible virus (don't have any reports of such involving the CIM agents but what about the system you created the kit on?).

Does the system still come up and run properly?

Antivirus is uptodate, everything else runs fine (server used as file server and antivirus server) !

Did you have this antivirus software turned off when installing CIM (not a good idea to have it on)? Do you have a backup from before this happened?
