NVRAM on DL740
The switch on the I/O Board that allows for clearing of the NVRAM, can this be done while the server running or should it be done when it off ? Do I need to set the switch to on and then switch the server on and shut it down and change the switch back to off to clear the NVRAM ?
Thanks

Re: NVRAM on DL740
your 2nd suggestion is correct.
Procedure as follows:
- Power off
- Set switch ON
- Power on
- Wait about 30 seconds, then power off
- Set switch OFF
- Power ON, NVRAM is now cleared

Stephen
