Need help installing aditional memory for ML360
I tried to add additional 2GB memory to my server which has 2GB in one slot but I get an error saying that DIMM 4 in correctly installed and I need to check the documentation for proper installation or something like that.
Any idea what I did wrong?
I just installed the 2nd memory next the first one that was already installed in DIMM 3.
Please let me know.
Thanks

Maybe post the correct Server Model you need help with?
DIMM part numbers?
Server have specific configuration rules so you need to know if it supports single or paired dimms.
Start here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Product.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=125&contentType=SupportManual&docIndexId=64180&prodTypeId=15351&prodCatId=241435
Find your Server, then locate the Service Guide. Inside the Service Guide you'll find the memory configuration guidelines and supported DIMMs. Configure accordingly.
