Need to find Product ID for warranty information

[Product ID]

In order to use the Warranty Checker I need to find the product Id for a Proliant DL360 G4.

Anybody know where I can find it?

From the system management homepage, under the System Config heading, click on "System Information" Under "Asset Control" section you will find the number you seek. This number is also present on the SN tag on the box itself.

Hi,

I think there's a small pull out identifying tag on the front of the server - left hand side if I recall correctly.

That should have the Product ID and serial number on it.

Hi.

Danny, the DL360 G4 model numbers vary according to the area you are in and the original spec of the machine, different configurations have different product ID's.

The easiest way is if you have access to the server is to eyeball the label on it. If its a DL360 it will be on the front panel, usually on the left hand side, although some models had it on the top right hand corner.

If you are in the US it should end in a -001. For other countries it will end in either a -201,291,371,421 or AA1. A B21 indicates a customised build.
