NetXtreme 5721

I am running a HM ML150 G2 with the embedded Broadcom NetXtreme 5721 adapater. Server 2003 is installed. I am using driver version 7.80.0.0 . Intermittently the NIC drops its network connection. The connection resumes in second or 2. I have installed a second NIC that works with no problems.

I am not able to run that update. I get:

"The software will not be installed on this system because the required hardware is not present in the system or the software/firmware doesn't apply to this system. "

I updated the driver to 8.39.1 from Broadcom website and the problem still persists.
