Netware 5.1 SP8 Problems on ProLiant DL360 G4

We are experiencing some problems with our server hanging on startup, roughly 2 out of 3 times after being restarted. The server is an HP ProLiant DL360 G4, with Netware 5.1 SP8 installed. All firmware/bios patches have been applied, as well as PSPs to-date. It usually hangs around the loading of the CPQ* modules, or after a message stating SNMP settings could not be found.

Has anyone experienced these, or similar problems? If so, is there a fix?

Thanks!

We are seeing the same problem on DL380G4s with NW5.1SP6. We have it occuring on 3 different new servers.

Another odd symptom is that sometimes we loose access to the DOS partition and it appears that DOS has been removed from memory.

We are still looking for a cause & work-around.

See customer notice CN0565W rev 1

We found our servere were loading the CPQMPK.PSM in startup.ncf. Per the notice, we removed it and added ACPIDRV.PSM. This seems to have corrected the problem.
