Network Boot Disk
Just built a Novell 4.2 server and I need to create an image.. So Im trying to boot off a floppy disk and access our novell network (4.11) to create and save the image. I am using Q57.com for the NIC driver but will not load. Error message I receive when loading driver "The adapter did not initialize. Q57 did not load" Network card is the NC3163. Any help with this would be appreciated. (IPX Protocol, 802.3)
We have used HP servers in the past, and we are evaluating the compaq ml330 to replace as our standard server.

Re: Network Boot Disk
NC3163 has a Intel 82559 ChipSet.
It does not use Q57 drivers but rather N100 drivers.
You can use N100ODI.COM (DOS-ODI) Driver for that adapter
For NC11xx and 31xx Series - Use N100
For NC71xx and 61XX Series - Use N1000
For NC77xx and 67xx Series - Use Q57
