Network Printers not connecting
My 2000 clients are connecting to my Proliant server for printing. After opening a document, they try to print to the network printers and it freezes the user system up. In the printers folder, if you click on a printer, it says "connecting." The server printers all show ready. I have installed current NIC drivers and have 5 2524 switches attached. I started noticing this problem after a message on the server that reads: Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Print
Event Category: None
Event ID: 41
Date: 1/21/2003
Time: 11:15:06 AM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: (server)
Description:
The PrintQueue could not be found on domain (ours).com. It may have been deleted from the Directory. An attempt will be made to republish the PrintQueue. Error: 2116
I have restarted the service and the server several times since and no improvement. Anyone have any clue as to what I can try next? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Network Printers not connecting
What are you using to conect the printers to the network? (Jet Direct, Netport etc...)
