New Drives failing in new DL385p Gen 8 server
Hi,
I recieved a new DL385p GEN 8 server yesterday with 8 new disks.
Loaded the disks and attempted to configure the RAID array (P420i controller) only to find 2 disks had failed.
I swapped the disks with 2 working disks from the other bays. The issue remains. This leads me to think the issue was with the ports and not the disks.
My supplier shipped me a replacement 355p today, I have just inserted the disks to find the same issue with port 3!
I swapped the disks with a complete replacement set and have the same issue with port 3.
I struggle to believe that my 2 servers have the same issue. Have i missed something with the RAID configuration?
Appreciate any advise.
Thanks
