New Server
I am trying to install my new server but my startup sequence says something about my storage enclosure power switch and my array will not recognize my drives. What am I doing wrong. Proliant ML370 with HP Smart Array 641 with 5 72 gig drives.
P.S. This thread has been moevd from General to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL). - Hp Forum Moderator

Re: New Server
From your description it could be that you have an external M43xx or MSA30 disk drive enclosure. It does not get its power from the server. There is a separate power inlet. Have you checked if the disk drives get power?
