New logical drives in attached 4314R are not available

I have a Proliant CL380 with an array of six 36GB univ. hard drives creating four logical drives.
I have attached a Compaq StorageWorks 4314R (190209-001) containing four more 36GB drives.
Using the COM1 port I created a new array and four more logical drives.
The CR3500 utility sees all 10 drives, all eight logical drives and all status is green.
Problem: When I perform a list devices on the Novell server console I only
see the two controllers and the four original logical drives. I should see
eight drives. A scan for new devices does not reveal any more than the original four.
Question: How do I get the new four logical drives to show up at the Novell server console so I can use them?
