Nic Teaming

We have a customer running Novell 5.1 sp1 with nssd 6.0. They are trying to team two nic?s, embedded 3163 and 3120. When they try to team with ipx 802.2 it works fine, but when trying to use 802.3 it fails. Is it possible to team card with more than one protocol?

Yes, it it possible to team with multiple protocols. You can find examples of how to do this in the EXAMPLES.TXT file, and parameter explanations in NWTEAM.TXT. Both files should be locatable on the SmartStart CD, but if they're not you can get them by downloading the latest NIC drivers from http://www.compaq.com/support/files
