Nic Teaming

When teaming(load balancing) a nic (NC3134/dual) on NT4.0 sp5, the current bandwidth counter in performance monitor shows one of the ports running at 100MB while the other is running at 10MB. In the nic properties, the status shows both of them running 100/Full. Is this a known issue with Performance monitor, or are we truly not getting the benefit of load balancing ?
