No boot - if keyboard are missing

We have a stack of W2K ST servers, running complete headless. After a rebut it hangs, if no keyboard is attached. How can we avoid this problem.

Thanks in advance

Re: No boot - if keyboard are missing

Does it say that you need to press F1 or F10? Do you have a RIB board installed?

Re: No boot - if keyboard are missing

I have the same problem with a DL320. The server ask me to press F1 key.
I cannot fine any switch on the BIOS settings to disable keyboard check.

Re: No boot - if keyboard are missing

Davide,

Press F9 to go into Setup on POST, choose "Advanced Options". Select "F1 Prompt" and hit ENTER. Then choose disable. This will disable the F1 prompt at boot and allow you to boot without a keyboard attached.

Have a nice day,
