Neither the HP Setup CD nor Windows 2008 will recognize any driver that came with it or that was downloaded from this site.
Someone - anyone - I need some serious help on what's up with this. I type the product number and serial number in this site and it says it can't find that number.
Please please please help!

Re: No drivers for Proliant ML110G5 160GB Sata
Did I miss something or does the need to use a 2003 driver make anyone else angry?
I spent hours trying to get a driver to work. Double-checking everything in the RAID utility, checking the BIOS, blah blah blah - only to find no supported Windows 2008 64-bit driver that works with this card!
Not good for the reputation.

Re: No drivers for Proliant ML110G5 160GB Sata
I had to use the Windows 2003 64 bit aarahci.sys file in order for Windows to recognize it. The HP Setup CD that came with the machine, didn't recognize the controller either. (The ACU)
And now, the drive seems to be very sluggish within Windows on the server. That's just browsing and moving the mouse around and starting little applications like Notepad.
I can't roll this OS out until I fix these things.

Re: No drivers for Proliant ML110G5 160GB Sata
I have followed the instructions on this link all the way and to no avail. The firmware update - says that the server is already up to date and that this download is older.
The Sata driver installations both fail with the attached screen message. So this has not helped me.
Any other ideas? (Please see the attached.)

Re: No drivers for Proliant ML110G5 160GB Sata
The installed Adaptec driver is still from 11/29/2007 v.1.4.17015.0 though. Isn't there a newer driver to use on Windows 2008 server?
Seems to me, running this old 2003 server driver is not the best way to go. See attached.
BTW - none of the new 64 bit drivers will install. They state that the hardware is not installed.

It took about an hour for it to process the mirror. The drive model is Seagate Barracuda 7200 - HP number GB0160EAFJE.
