Not able to assign static IP for destination server(SMP-P2P)
I am doing server migration from IBM server to HP Blade Server by using HP Server Migration Pack-Physical to Proliant. The source server and application station is ready except for destination server(HP Blade). For destination server, I suppose to boot from SMP-P2P bootable disc and going through the setup(Array controller and IP assignment)before launching the agent. My problem is I am not able to set an IP for the destination server and it keeps on failed. I try to load into Windows and I am able to set the same IP for it and able to ping from application station. Any idea to solve this as I am not able to continue with the migration. Pls help, thanks.
