Not recongnizing SW4200 Enclosure off Smart Array 5300

My new ML570 is not recognizing the add-on Smart Array 5300 as the boot controller. The only disks arw 100GB in a Raid 5 + on-line spare hanging off the Smart Array 5300 in a StorageWorks 4200 enclosure. It will boot to it if I go into the array controller config (F8) and set it as the boot controller. However, within the system configuration utility, it either sets the IDE controller or one of the on-board SCSI controllers to be the boot controller.

This has prevented me from getting the drivers pre-installed to the OS soI can install NT4 correctly. Any ideas? I've tried setting it before the sys config util runs, and then afterwards, but no luck.

Tnanks anyway. Apparently, I need SmartStart 4.81 or better, altho both the server and the Array Controller came w/ 4.80.

4.90 is "in the mail", so I hope to have this resolved soon.
