Hello,
i want to buy a HP DL380p with 8 SAS hard drives and P420i Raid controller.
2 x 146GB Hdd
2 x 300 GB Hdd
2 x 900 GB Hdd
2 x 1 TB Hdd
How many arrays is it possible to make ?
I would like to make RAID 1for each type of hdd. So : 4 x RAID 1. I s it possible

Yes, it is possible, but a cache is required.
Pls check the quickspecs of the server.

Logical Drives Supported
Zero Memory, Up to 2 logical volumes (8SFF or 4LFF physical drives)
Up to 64 logical drives with cache
