Nvidia GTX980TI on HPE DL180 Gen9 12 LFF SERVER 2 x Intel® Xeon® E5-2650v4
Hello
I am planning to buy
HPE DL180 Gen9 12 LFF 2U 2P RACK MOUNT SERVER 2 x Intel® Xeon® E5-2650v4 32GB RAM. With Ubuntu 16.04.
The server will be used for IP Camera management via VMS for Face Recognition and other survilliance features. Software team wants NVidia GTX980ti, whereas HP says only K2200 is compatible (https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04442027).
Someone please confirm if GTX980 or higher will support this server? Or whats the way around?
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Nvidia GTX980TI on HPE DL180 Gen9 12 LFF SERVER 2 x Intel® Xeon® E5-2650v4
Hi that I have already mentinoned in my post that as per HP only specific card is compatible.
Do you want to imply that apart from these two cards nothing else will work?
If other can work, can u pl confirm for GTX980TI or any work-around to add this card to this server?
