OARS installation problems

(sorry for my bad english)
Hi, I download the OARS DVD's AprJun10, but differently from olders versions, I do not find the installer and also not possible open ISO individually by open index.htm (before was possible). I think that now OARS is compacted into a java files. I read something about need use Apache Lucene.
Somebody can help me?

Re: OARS installation problems

IIRC you need to run the installer in order to install the application.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: OARS installation problems

Sorry Torsten, but what mean "IIRC"???
When I mount ISO image of OARS, in the root directory exist a file called "oars_installer.exe". With a double-click, open a window asking destination folder of installation. But when finished, in specified folder I can see just a copy of DVD.
If a run oars.bat, its lauch a browser page with the path: http://localhost:8081/home.do

Re: OARS installation problems

Dennis, thank for your response.

I just need open OARS.. just this...rsss

Before, the OARS ISO had ASTAware SearchDisc search engine, simply to install.

Now, I dont know how I open the OARS application.
When mount ISO, autorun.inf call oars.bat that call a browser page with address "http://localhost:8081/home.do".
I need have a Apache server? And after I install Apache, what I need to do?
Thanks a lot

Re: OARS installation problems

It seems this has something to do with: Onsite Agent's Reference Set
Again: What kind of server do you have?
What OS version are you running?
