OS Installation Problem - DL360e Gen8 installed with P420/1GB FBWC Controller

Hi,

We have a server DL360e Gen8 (PN: 668814-371) and we installed it with P420/1GB FBWC Controller (PN: 631670-B21) and routed the SAS cables to use the added controller.

The problem is when we try to install it with CentOS 6.3 it won't detect the drives.

If someone has tried and solved this issue please help me guys.

Thanks

If you run the controllers built-in utility you can see the logical drives?

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Windows 2008R2/2012 and ESXi 4.1 and 5.1 all work out of the box, not sure what is up with redhat aka centos.

It is important to know how to compile a kernel and modules never the less. or virtualize and never worry again about drivers in the vm-world!
