Obtain and activate iLO Standard??
I was reading about iLO to learn more about it and discovered that iLO Standard is provided free with most Proliant ML/DL servers.
We have several old ML/DL servers plus 1 new DL380 G5 purchased last year. They still have all their iLO tags.
How and where do I find out about activating and using it??
How would I know which of our servers I can use iLO Standard??
Thank you, Tom

Re: Obtain and activate iLO Standard??
I found the iLO Supported Servers, I see our DL380 G5 on the list for iLO 2 Standard and our DL360 G3 on the list for iLO 1 Standard.
How would I determine what iLO is possible and available for our ML350 G3 servers??

Re: Obtain and activate iLO Standard??
Hello Tom!
All new (G5) ML3xx and DL3xx/DL5xx/DL785 has iLO2 embedded.
For other new servers, you must check the server datasheet.
In past generation, generally only DL servers had iLO, for ML was available RILOE, an optional PCI card for management.
And all HP BladeSystem servers come with iLO Advanced Pack.
The iLO User Guide you can find at docs.hp.com

Re: Obtain and activate iLO Standard??
I can do without it for the MLs, I will check into it for the DLs and especially the DL360 G5 that we have.
Thank you also for the link to the manual.
