Ok last one Promise RAID 5300 Expansion
Ok I promise last post about this. Well probably the last one. Im just trying to educate myself and cover all the bases.
What exactly happens when you extend a RAID 5 array?
What are the risks associated with this process?
I had planned on doing the procedure last Friday, March 24, 2006 but decided to hold off. Glad I did because someone decided to take out a pole which caused the building to loose power for 5 hours or so which means so did the server after the UPS died. So again thank you for your answers and patience.
