Old Compaq Proliant ML330 Pentium 3
I have a Compaq Proliant ML330 Pentium 3 model, I try to install Windows 2000 server but the server was saying "Please check Hard Disk Drive" The Windows 2000 installer didn't detect the hard disk drive of the server. But when I try to install Windows 98, It's working. I don't have the correct SmartStart CD of my server. Can you please help me where can I get that SmartStart of my Old Compaq Proliant ML330 Pentium 3 model?

You can download the Smartstart CD.

Re: Old Compaq Proliant ML330 Pentium 3
Ace,
You need to download SmartStart 5.5 from here:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/subscription/ssdownloads.asp
Then burn the iso image to a cd and boot off the cd. Choose assisted install and it will walk you through setting up your array and installing the OS. Once the OS install is complete go here and download PSP 7.3:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22272.html
This will update your system with the latest drivers/agents.
You should also download the latest firmware cd from here:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22722.html
This will upgrade the System ROM, hard drive firmware, etc.
