Only 4GB Primary Partition create using smartstart
Dear,
When I using the smartstart 5.10 to install Windows 2000 Server w/SP2 ( Select version ), Only get 4GB Primary partition even I choose 6150MB which was the default size for Window 2000 server primary partition in smartstart. Any Idea ? I also using smartstart 5.00 w/ Windows 2000 w/o sp cd. I got the same result.
Hardware configuration :
ML530R w/ 2 x PIII 1GMz CPU
2GB Ram
5304 w/128MB Cache RAID Controller
6 x 36GB Hot-Plug HD
2 x NC3134 NIC

Re: Only 4GB Primary Partition create using smartstart
I have the same issue with a DL360. I had to reinstall it and cannot get it to create the partition at anything other than 4GB even though it had previously been setup at 6GB using the same Smartstart. Go figure.

Re: Only 4GB Primary Partition create using smartstart
Hi,
I find the solution. If you want 6GB Primary Partition. You just type 8GB in the smartstart ! They will be minus 2GB on that. Smile.
